YOUTH SKI PROGRAMS (BKL)
Brad has been coaching endurance sports since graduating from Dartmouth College, where he competed on both the varsity rowing and cross-country ski teams. A three time All American as a junior racer, Brad now enjoys coaching both novices and elite skiers on the trails at Dublin where his father used to race.
Brad is head master and nordic ski coach at Dublin School. Brad is the vision behind the Dublin XC programs.
Junior Program CoachKathy Maddock has been the Souhegan High School Varsity Nordic Ski Team Head Coach for more than 15 years. She has coached the New England Junior Nationals Team several times, and has served as the New Hampshire Girls Coach for both the Eastern High School Championship Team and the Eastern J2 Championships Team. Kathy started ski racing in the Torgle Tokle League (later renamed the Bill Koch League) in 1977, and was the first ever Massachusetts High School Girls Nordic Ski Champion. Kathy skied for Dartmouth College and was captain her senior year. She spent her junior winter racing as a member of the US Nordic Ski Team and competed in World Cup competitions in Germany, Finland Norway, and Sweden.
Lindsey was a high school state champion and skied in the Junior Olympics, and the Norwegian Birkebeiner. After high school she skied Divison 1 for the University of New Hampshire and remains a member of UNH’s ski board.
Lindsey is a assistant coach for Dublin School nordic ski program, and helps with all Dublin XC programs. Lindsey is owner of Cheetah Design Studio in Peterborough, NH so her photography and web developing skills are put to use with Dublin XC.
Youth Program Coach
Holly is the mother of two and works as a College Counselor at the Dublin School. Outdoor activity are an essential part of Holly’s lifestyle. Whether running in a road race, skiing the Dublin School Nordic trails, coaching youth lacrosse, or chasing her children down the ski slope, keeping active energizes me.

Masters Program Leader
When Michael saw his son’s enthusiasm for the SHS Nordic Team in 2014, he decided to dive in too and hasn’t stopped! He started roller skiing the next summer spring and loves learning about all aspects of nordic technique and training. Michael lives in Lyndeborough in an old farmhouse with his family and is a partner at Puritan Capital, a fine art printing company in Hollis, NH.
Beginner Viking Program
One Day a Week
The 1-day a week program is for skiers grades K-8 who are interested in learning the sport. Through games, relays, and journeys around the trails, skiers will be introduced to basic technique and work on their agility and balance on skis. Children K-3 must have a parent or guardian on the premises during practice.
- Dates: Fridays 4-5PM December 4- March 5
- Program Fee: $100 (includes required NENSA membership)
- Equipment: classic skis either fish scale (waxless) or waxable

Advanced Viking Program
Two Day a Week
The 2-day a week program is designed for experienced skiers grades 3-8 who wish to ski more frequently and seek more challenge. Skiers are exposed to both skate and classic techniques and work on improving their endurance. We encourage our skiers to attend our home race, regional BKL race events, as well as the annual Bill Koch League Festival hosted by NENSA. Skiers and parents are expected to learn how to wax their skis through Dublin XC waxing clinics.

- Tuesdays and Fridays 4-5PM December 4- March 5
